Doggies 4 Duchenne Race/Fundraiser
On January 21, 2017 Light Up Your Life and globally recognized artist R.O.Schabbach sponsored the "Doggies 4 Duchenne" registration party/fundraiser benefiting "Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch" as well as "Another Day for Gray."
Schabbach designed custom beer and wine bottle labels (pictured) to be auctioned off during the event.
Director of Operations for LUYL - Monika Oberer, a close friend of Grayson Tullio, a 13-year-old from Lakewood Ranch with Duchenne who is the inspiration for “Another Day for Gray,” is a coordinator of the Doggies for Duchenne event along with Rebekah Boos.
About Doggies 4 Duchenne
D4D (Doggies 4 Duchenne) will benefit both the "Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch" as well as "Another Day for Gray." 100% of the proceeds from this race will benefit both charities. The race will be a 5k, taking place on February 11, 2017. Runners, without canines, will start first. Runners with canines, strollers and walkers will start ten minutes later. Individual age group awards will be given and First, Second, Third Place awards given to Human/Canine Teams!! Please come join in the fun!!! Show us how fast your best friend can run!!!
