Sarasota, Florida (June 23, 2011) - Lighting Showroom of the Year (USA & Canada) awards in Dallas Texas

On June 23rd 2011, several hundred people attended the second, annual Lighting Showroom of the Year (USA & Canada) awards in Dallas Texas. Sarasota business, Light Up Your Life was amongst the ten finalists in the category "sales under two million" and were announced as the winner.

Over the last 13 years Light Up Your Life has grown from a small storefront on Main St. to the 6,000 sq. foot showroom on 1620 N. Tamiami Trail that it is today. Owners, Susan & Moritz Inderbinen and their staff strive to give outstanding customer service and up-to-date knowledge of state of the art lighting and lighting systems. There is currently no other showroom on the west coast of Florida offering such a dynamic and cutting-edge range of design from all over the world.

Part of Light Up Your Life's philosophy has always included giving back to the community that helps support it. The business hosts classes from the Ringling School of Art + Design to inform design students of the latest technology in lighting. Light Up Your Life also donates lighting to Habitat Humanity as well as various local charity fund-raisers. They also host classical music fund-raiser evenings for Sarasota music academy students.
